Flavour Uncensored is a specialty shop based in the Niagara Region of Ontario that is working on “Bringing the WOW to your taste buds!” by offering you the customer, some of the best flavours of Coffee, Tea and Specialty drink Kcups. We also have many different flavours of syrup to use in your hot or cold drinks and even as part of your cooking.
We are always on the look out to find more items to bring into our shop that can WOW your taste buds.
A little history…..
For many years I have thought about starting a specialty store the sells Kcups, and I mean for many years. Finally in 2019 I started to get the ball rolling to make it happen. I developed a plan on how to go about getting product to sell and then made relationships with suppliers.
At the beginning of 2020 I started to get a small amount of inventory with a plan to do vendor shows in the Niagara Region to get an idea about what the customers want, and size up the demand for it. But then, along can Covid 19 and all vendor shows stopped just as I was about to get going. I had to wait until July before I could start my first vendor show which was at the outdoor market at the Welland Seaway Mall.
I did the show almost every Monday until the season ended. I also did a few other shows that were available to do on the odd weekend. We did as many shows as we could to help get the best possible feel for our customers and to get our name out to the public. There wasn’t many shows to do because of all the Covid restrictions.
The goal is now to establish a store location in Welland to serve the residents of the Niagara Region, but with Covid still a problem, it is difficult to make that happen. So I have made a presence on social media’s and now this website so that we can keep reaching our customers and make new ones in the Niagara Region. We also want to add customers outside of the region by adding shipping to the website soon.
And now about our name “Flavour Uncensored”, I was doing these vendor shows without having a name. I was having a hard time coming up with something that showed what I wanted the business to be, not just coffee Kcups. I want to bring in different things that have flavour and for different reasons. So just before I went out to the 3rd show I had the name and printed out some business cards to get it in the public’s hands. Then I added the slogan “Bringing the WOW to your taste buds!”.
